Natural Cedar Single Wall Hot Tub Price List
Basic Single Wall Natural Cedar Tubs have anchored our product line for nearly thirty years and we have built thousands of them for projects all over the U.S. and many foreign countries.
All of the tubs offered below are constructed in the classic hoop and stave style from 7/4 clear Western Red Cedar and are bound and fastened with marine grade stainless steel tensioning bands and fittings. Our traditional Natural Cedar Tubs are only offered fully assembled and finished. The vessels are shipped or delivered pre-plumbed and are ready for installation. Included in the price quoted for each tub is: circumferential seating, a recessed stainless steel drain, an interior tub light and a complete digital electric operating system. Our standard operating systems are designed and built around a state of the art Gecko control. The Gecko control programs, monitors, and actuates all tub functions. Each system includes a spa control, an electric heater, a two-speed pump, a cartridge filter, and two system isolation ball valves. Each control has additional outputs that will power an auxiliary sanitation system; we offer both “Clear Blue”programmable ionizers or the “EcoSmarte” non-chemical sanitation system as options. The control will also power a blower should you desire a champagne ring. All of the operating system components are delivered mounted on a composite base and are pre-piped and pre-wired ready for installation. The spa control automatically operates the heater, circulation pump and auxiliary outputs and the operator may select either standard or economy operating modes for these functions. A spaside touchpad is used to program the control and for for on-demand control of jets, the tub light, and a blower or auxiliary circuit. The control can be outfitted with an optional WiFi interface, if the owner desires, that allows access for monitoring and programming from anywhere with a smartphone via an Internet connection. Indicator lights are incorporated into each circuit for diagnostics and system components are assembled in a modular fashion for ease of maintenance.
The Gecko control is, by design, very adaptable and can easily be configured to interface with an alternate heat source, should the owner desire. We can offer systems with a free-standing Natural Gas or Propane heater or set the control up to interface with a boiler and utilize a heat exchanger to heat the tub. In some areas chilling is desired as well as heating and for those scenarios we set the control up to interface with a heat pump. The tubs priced below are in “Deck Insert” configuration and are usually built into a structure at the project site; the jet plumbing, if present, is exposed and visible and the operating system is remote from the tub. We also offer these tubs in “Free-Standing” configuration where the jet plumbing is insulated and Cedar covered to mask it, a control console is added at the rear of the tub to accommodate the spa-side touch pad and the air control. The operating equipment is housed in an enclosure behind the tub that houses and protects it while also serving as a step and an access platform. Wood-fired Hot Tub Price List
All of the tubs offered below are constructed in the classic hoop and stave style from Clear 7/4 Vertical Grain Western Red Cedar which we source from select mills in British Columbia. The wood is sorted and machined to exacting standards, in our facility, in preparation for assembly. Each tub is bound with recessed marine grade stainless steel tensioning bands and all fasteners used in the assembly process are stainless. Our submersible wood stoves are designed for maximum thermal efficiency and are fabricated to fit into the curvature of the tub; every effort is made to optimize the interior space available for people. Our tubs are only available fully assembled and finished, we do not offer kits. Within New England, tubs are generally delivered directly from the factory or picked up, at completion, by their new owners; outside New England, tubs are created and shipped by common carrier.
Included in the price quoted for each tub is bi-level circumferential seating, a recessed stainless steel drain fitting, and it’s listed submersible stove complete with an integrated heat shield, and an ash shovel. Custom fit thermal covers and heavy gauge stainless stove pipe assemblies with rain caps are available as options.
